Yep, that's the (In)famous wiring on the inside of my telecaster.

Let me explain, really quick.

Normally, a telecaster is the simplest thing ever, electronically, anyways. They have two knobs, and a single three position switch.

Now, mine... has six standard knobs, and two knobs that also work as switches when you pull them up away from the body, to make the dual coil humbuckers into singlecoils. It also has two 5 position switches, a three position les paul switch (not shown here), a kill switch(again, not shown here), and the wires coming through on the right hand side are for a switch to remove the ground.

All of the knobs and switches actually work and do stuff.
The row across the top is a treble cut knob for independent control of the four pickups.
The row across the bottom is a Volume knob for independent control of the four pickups.

Also, normal tele's have eight wires in them.
Mine has 42.

Photography is subtractive art. First we throw away 90 percent of our photos, then crop, remove colour, remove noise, removing what is left bit by bit until we have only the reality we wish to show.
